LONDON WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER

Looking for a London wedding videographer? At Wild Heart Films, I create documentary-style wedding films that capture your day exactly as it unfolds. No awkward posing. No endless direction. Just real moments, natural light, and all the emotion that makes your wedding yours.

I’ve filmed more than 250 weddings across the UK and beyond, including some of London’s most iconic venues. Each one feels unique, and that’s the beauty of a city like London—it offers everything from elegant manors and historic landmarks to quirky warehouses and hidden gardens.

I describe my style as documentary wedding videography.

That means:

No staged moments or fake reactions.

A natural, honest record of the day as it actually happened.

Films that feel relaxed, emotional, and timeless.

Think of me less as a vendor and more as another guest with a camera—quietly capturing every smile, every hand squeeze, every laugh that carries across the room.

Many couples also explore newer social-first capture options like wedding content creators and want to understand the difference between those and traditional videography. You can read our guide to wedding content creators and how they compare to videographers to see what each captures and how they deliver.

London is packed with incredible places to get married. Here are a few I’ve filmed at or particularly love for documentary-style films:

  • Shoreditch Studios – Perfect for couples who want a modern, creative edge. The brick walls and big open space give so much character to your film.
  • Kew Gardens – Natural light, beautiful surroundings, and an iconic London backdrop.
  • Asylum Chapel – Atmospheric and raw, with the kind of texture and depth that makes your film feel timeless.
  • Clissold House – A hidden North London gem for intimate, relaxed weddings.
  • Syon Park – A stunning blend of grandeur and greenery, with huge windows that bathe everything in soft light.

How much does a London wedding videographer cost?

Most couples in London spend between £1,950 and £2,500 on wedding videography. Full-day coverage starts from £1,750, with options tailored to the pace, locations, and structure of your day.

How soon do we receive our wedding video?

Wedding films are usually delivered within 8–12 weeks. If you’ve chosen a teaser edit, you’ll receive a short film to share within 7 days of your wedding.

Do you work well with photographers at London weddings?

Yes. I regularly work alongside London photographers and keep things calm and collaborative. My approach is unobtrusive, allowing everyone to work comfortably and capture the day naturally.

Can you cover multi-venue or fast-paced London weddings?

Yes. London weddings often involve multiple locations and tighter timelines, and I plan coverage carefully to keep filming unobtrusive as the day moves between venues.

Do you only film weddings in London?

No. While I regularly film weddings in London, I also cover weddings across the UK and destination weddings abroad. Location is never a limitation.

Your wedding film highlights include all of the key moments that define your special day.

  • Pre-Ceremony Moments: Capturing the excitement and preparation, including getting ready shots, special details, and candid interactions with loved ones.
  • Ceremony Highlights: Key parts of the ceremony, such as the vows, ring exchange, the first kiss, and your celebratory walk down the aisle as a married couple.
  • First Look: If you have a first look, this intimate moment is a must-have in your highlights.
  • Confetti:  A great way to make your wedding special!  Natural wedding confetti or paper discs look incredible, with all your guests around you it’s one you will treasure forever.
  • Reception Events: Important events like speeches, cake cutting and your first dance.
  • Candid Moments: Genuine, unscripted interactions between you, your partner, and your guests that capture the joy and emotion of the day.
  • Venue and Decor: Beautiful shots of your venue, decor, and other details that set the scene and reflect the theme of your wedding.
  • Walking Hand in Hand: Create natural, romantic moments by walking hand in hand, adding movement and connection to your film.
  • Look at Each Other, Not the Camera: Focus on each other rather than the camera to capture genuine emotions and intimate moments.
  • Communicate Your Vision: Share your ideas, themes, and must-have shots with your videographer to ensure they understand your vision.
  • Plan for Golden Hour: Schedule a few minutes to head outside during golden hour (just before sunset) for beautiful, soft lighting.
  • Relax and Be Present: Stay relaxed and enjoy the moment; your genuine emotions will make the film feel authentic.
  • Trust Your Videographer: Allow your videographer creative freedom to capture candid moments that you might not expect but will love.

There’s nowhere quite like London for weddings. One moment you’re stepping out of a black cab onto a historic street, the next you’re dancing under fairy lights in a converted warehouse. It’s a city that never stands still, and that energy comes through in the films I create.

Every couple brings their own flavour—cosmopolitan, traditional, quirky, relaxed. That’s why no two London wedding films I deliver ever feel the same.

While you can share your video with friends and family as soon as you receive your digital link, one of our favourite ways is to gather your nearest and dearest together for a screening party. The perfect excuse to see everyone again, reminisce about the special moments you all shared, and spend an evening reliving that moment together.
