What to Expect When You’re Looking For A Wedding Videographer.
How do you book a wedding videographer?
Pre-Booking Consultation: This is a chance for us to connect and explore your wedding videography ideas, and to find out whats important to you when it comes to capturing your wedding. It’s a perfect time to address any initial questions and discuss the videography package that best enhances your wedding day experience.
Booking: Following our consultation, you’ll receive access to our client portal. Here, you can complete the booking form, sign your contract, and pay the deposit, efficiently securing your wedding videographer.
Pre-Wedding Consultation: Roughly a month before your wedding, we’ll schedule a video call to finalise the day’s schedule and discuss any updates since your booking. This is also when the final invoice will be sent. We will also connect with your wedding photographer to introduce ourselves.
The Wedding Day: We typically arrive two hours before the ceremony to begin filming your wedding preparations and shots of your wedding venue. From there we focus on crafting timeless memories, always looking for the next moment to unfold. Your entire wedding ceremony will be filmed, as well as your speeches, and our style of relaxed videography will ensure you can enjoy yourselves, not think about the camera, while we are busy capturing your wedding day in all its beauty.
Editing and Delivery: This is where the magic happens. We take our time with every wedding to make sure all your special moments are shown in an authentic, emotive way. Within 8-12 weeks, the final wedding film will be uploaded to a private video portal, where you can relive your day all over again.
Future: Your wedding film can become part of your new traditions going forward, why not relive your day every anniversary!

Should I Only Book Wedding Videographers Near Me?
When you are looking for the best wedding videographer for you, its worth noting that you aren’t restricted to choosing only local professionals. Many videographers, ourselves included, travel across the UK, its one of our favourite parts of working in this industry. The same goes for your wedding photography.
Choosing the right videographer is crucial; it should be someone who understands your specific needs and with whom you feel comfortable. Whether they are local or from further afield, the best videographer will work closely with you to ensure your wedding film reflects your personal style on your big day.
The Difference Between Cinematic or Documentary Wedding Videos.
As you explore wedding videographers you’ll find a whole range of styles, so understanding the main differences between them is especially important before you make up your mind. Choosing the right videographer who aligns with your vision is essential.
We are dedicated to a natural, documentary approach to wedding videography. We prioritise capturing your day as it unfolds, with a focus on genuine, unscripted moments. Our method is discreet and unobtrusive, allowing you to fully engage in the celebrations while we carefully document the emotions and details that make your day unique.

“The best thing we ever did for our wedding, we will be watching our video together until we’re old and wrinkly!”
The Importance of Choosing The Right Wedding Videography Style:
The most popular styles of wedding videography are:
Documentary Wedding Videography: This style is all about authenticity, capturing the event as it will unfold naturally. It’s perfect for couples who want a true-to-life record of their day, from spontaneous laughs to heartfelt tears, without any staged interventions.
Cinematic Wedding Videography: For those who want a cinematic wedding film which feels more like watching a movie. It can involve more detailed planning and might require additional time with the videographer to achieve those perfectly crafted shots.
By identifying your preferred style, you can more effectively seek out a videographer who specialises in the approach that resonates with you.
We live and breathe our documentary-style videography, focusing on capturing genuine, candid moments that let you relive your wedding day just as it felt.
If you value authenticity and want a film that reflects your actual wedding experience, we are here to make that vision come true.

FAQs: Answering Your Questions about Wedding Videography in Cornwall, Devon and South West England.
Do we need one videographer or two for our South West wedding?
Most couples choose one videographer, which works well for relaxed South West weddings. If you’re getting ready in separate locations, have a larger guest list, or would like more coverage across the day, a second videographer can be added. I’m always happy to advise based on how your wedding is planned.
How long after our wedding will we receive the films?
Your wedding films are delivered within 8–12 weeks. Everything is shared through a private online gallery where you can easily watch, download, and share your films with friends and family.
Is travel to my wedding included?
Yes. Travel is included for weddings across the South West, including countryside, coastal, and rural venues, so there are no additional travel costs added later.
Do you offer both wedding videography and photography?
I specialise in wedding videography only. I regularly work alongside photographers whose approach complements mine, and I’m always happy to recommend photographers if you’re still looking.
What style of wedding videography do you offer?
My style is natural and documentary-led, focusing on real moments rather than staged scenes. This suits South West weddings particularly well, where the pace of the day and the setting often feel relaxed and unforced.
