EDINBURGH WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHER

Wedding at Gosford House, Edinburgh
Wedding at Sloanes in Glasgow

The best Edinburgh wedding videographer for you is someone who can tell your story in a way that feels completely yours — capturing the feel and emotion of your day without staging or interrupting it.

I’m a UK-based wedding filmmaker who travels across the country to create warm, documentary-style wedding films. Edinburgh’s historic streets, elegant venues, and dramatic scenery are a dream to capture, and I bring a fresh, creative approach to every couple’s day here.

With over a decade of experience, I capture weddings naturally, focusing on the laughter, tears, and little in-between details that make your day truly yours.

My films are honest, heartfelt, and designed to let you relive the authentic vision of your wedding for years to come.

Edinburgh is one of the most atmospheric cities in the world. From the cobbled lanes of the Old Town to the Georgian elegance of the New Town, every location feels cinematic. The way the light changes with the seasons, the grand interiors of its historic venues, the views from Calton Hill or Arthur’s Seat — it’s a city made for storytelling.

We focus on capturing your wedding day as it happens. Our films are natural and honest, reflecting the atmosphere and moments that matter to you. From the small details to the big moments, we work quietly to document your day so you can relive it in a way that feels true to you.

Here’s what you can expect:

  • Pre-Wedding Consultation: Before the big day, we’ll meet with you to understand your vision, preferred style, and any specific moments you want to be captured. Whether you prefer a classic, romantic film or a more modern, upbeat vibe, we specialise in making every wedding suit our couples.
  • Unobtrusive Filming: We know how important it is for you and your guests to feel comfortable. Your videographer will work discretely capturing authentic moments without being intrusive. You can enjoy your day while we focus on creating timeless memories.
  • Professional Editing: Once the wedding day is over, its time for us to start crafting your wedding video.  We take our time reviewing the footage captured, highlighting the most emotional and exciting parts of the day, as well as the little moments that come together to tell your story.  We then browse our extensive music library to select the most suitable music which gives that cinematic touch.
  • Delivery of Your Wedding Film: We use a platform called Vidflow to deliver your wedding film.  You will get access to your own private portal where you can watch, download and share all of your wedding films.

How much does an Edinburgh wedding videographer cost?

Most couples spend between £1,750 and £2,700 for full-day wedding videography in Edinburgh. Pricing depends on coverage length and the shape of your day, with everything kept clear and transparent from the start.

When should we book our Edinburgh wedding videographer?

Ideally, 12–18 months in advance, especially for summer dates and popular times like festival season or Hogmanay. If your date is sooner, it’s always worth checking availability.

Do you film elopements in and around Edinburgh?

Yes. I film intimate elopements at locations such as Arthur’s Seat, Calton Hill, and quieter spots around the city. These smaller weddings suit a calm, documentary approach beautifully.

Are you based in Edinburgh or do you travel in?

I’m UK-based and travel regularly to Edinburgh for weddings. Working this way allows me to bring a fresh perspective while still being familiar with how weddings flow in the city.

What style of wedding videography do you offer?

My style is natural and documentary-led, focusing on real moments as they unfold rather than staged scenes. The character and pace of Edinburgh weddings lend themselves particularly well to this approach.

How long after our wedding will we receive our films?

Wedding films are usually delivered within 8–12 weeks. Everything is shared through a private online gallery where you can watch, download, and share your films easily.

Get in touch to tell me all about your Edinburgh wedding plans — I’d love to create a film that captures not just how it looked, but how it felt.
