As experienced videographers, we want you to feel confident in understanding how everything works for us, and how we fit into your wedding day. Our approach to wedding videography is designed to be as unobtrusive as you desire which can allow us to be more discrete if thats what works for you.
On your wedding day, we aim to be with you around 2 hours before your ceremony (depending on whether you have to travel between venues) to film your bride or groom preparations. Pop the champagne, dance around in your dressing gowns, and have your hair and make up perfected. We use camera equipment almost identical to what your wedding photographer might use, and like to use natural lighting only to make sure we cause no distractions.
We then leave before you to get ready for your ceremony, getting our cameras set up and small microphones positioned on those who are speaking, including your registrar/celebrant/religious figure who is leading you.
We position ourselves carefully to make sure we can be unobtrusive, our small cameras and slight tripods are a blessing for this.
After you say I do we keep a similar approach, capturing your day naturally, always looking for beautiful, natural moments of affection and emotion between yourselves, and your guests.
We would have spoken beforehand as to how you feel about taking a few minutes aside to capture shots of the two of you together, if you are comfortable with this we will make use of moments of particularly beautiful light, or a spare couple of minutes to take you for a breather together, where you can enjoy each others company alone for a moment, while we focus on getting some gorgeous film of the two of you together. Our goal is to create a wedding film that truly reflects your celebration however you choose to celebrate it, capturing the real emotions and atmosphere of the most special day of your life.
