Privacy Policy
Wild Heart Films is a wedding videography business run by Leanne Matthews, a sole trader. This policy explains what personal information I collect, why I keep it, and the choices you have. If you have a question, email info@wildheartfilms.co.uk.
Information I collect
Enquiries are submitted through a form provided by Studio Ninja (a client management service), which stores the enquiry details (name, email, phone, wedding date and venue) and sends them to me by email. I also collect the technical details a normal website visit creates, such as the pages you open, through Google Analytics. I do not ask you to create an account.
Why I use it
I use enquiry details to reply to you, check whether I can film your wedding, and keep a record of our conversation. I use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful. I only use your information for Wild Heart Films. I do not sell it.
Who helps me look after it
A few services process information on my behalf:
- Studio Ninja stores enquiry details and sends them to me by email.
- Vercel hosts this website.
- Supabase stores website files, including images.
- Google Analytics counts visits and shows which pages are useful, only in aggregate. Google Signals and ad personalisation are switched off. Visitors can turn analytics off at any time with the "Analytics opt-out" link in the footer.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiry details for 2 years. I keep wedding footage indefinitely, and only with the couple’s consent, so you can ask for your film again in the future. Analytics data is kept for the period set in Google Analytics.
Your rights
You can ask me for a copy of the personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, ask me to delete it, or ask for a copy you can take elsewhere. Email info@wildheartfilms.co.uk and I will respond. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office if you are unhappy with how your information is handled.
Cookies
This site does not use advertising cookies. It uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful, only in aggregate. Google Signals and ad personalisation are switched off. Visitors can turn analytics off at any time with the "Analytics opt-out" link in the footer. More detail is on the cookie policy.
